- Create a company Google account.
- Go to the website https://www.google.pl/business/.
- Log in and then enter the company name. If the name is very long and contains elements such as “Limited Liability Company” or “Limited Partnership,” omit these parts.
- Now it’s time to provide additional information – address and type of business. Providing a phone number and website address is not mandatory, but these are details sought by as many as 90% of customers.
- You will receive a free domain – companyname.business.site.
- Assign your page to the appropriate category. After some time, you will be able to add more categories. However, the one you choose initially will be the most important and will strongly influence the types of queries your profile appears for.
Verification Process of the Profile
The Google My Business profile must go through a verification process. Before starting, it is worth double-checking that no mistakes were made in entering the phone number, address, and company name. You will be able to correct these details later, but their accuracy affects the verification – which can be done immediately or after some time.
- Choose the verification method. Trusted Google accounts may use instant verification. Occasionally, phone verification is available – you receive a call and enter the heard code in the dialog box. However, the most common verification method is sending a letter with a code. Unfortunately, waiting for the letter can take up to four weeks.
- Expand the company information database in your Google My Business profile panel.

Is It Possible to Delete a Business Profile?
Of course, like any tool, the Google My Business profile can be deleted. To do so, follow these steps:
- Go to the settings panel visible by expanding the menu in the upper left corner of the management panel.
- Then select the specific profile and choose the delete option from the list of possible actions. Warnings related to the deletion process will appear on the screen.
- Confirm or cancel the deletion of the profile. Keep in mind that it will not disappear immediately from search results and may still be displayed for some time.
